The full expedition begins. Arrive in Cape Town and settle into Val d’Or Estate in the Winelands.

Windhoek

Cross into Namibia and make camp at the Mel​​en in Windhoek. First night, first stories.

Windhoek → Sesriem

The 4×4 convoy heads south-west to Dead Valley Lodge, Sesriem.

Sossusvlei / Sesriem

A full desert day. Dunes, dead trees, and a night sky without light pollution.

Sesriem → Swakopmund

Leave the dunes behind and travel towards the Atlantic coast.

The first of three nights in Swakopmund. Desert meets ocean.

A second full day for Walvis Bay, wandering, and whatever the group chat has planned.
